Piyavadana

If people respect and talk nicely to us, respect and talk nicely to them. If they disrespect and talk badly to us, still respect and talk nicely to them. We should not allow the actions of others to decrease our goodness. Doing good to others is not a duty, but humanity and it is a joy because it increases our own health, peace and happiness within us.
